What is a ghost? This question has been asked by many for a very long time. Since the dawn of time, there have been reports of ghosts. Ghosts are not something you find just in a few locations, they are everywhere. People from all over the world, from different cultures, religions, and beliefs have all reported experiences with ghosts. The dictionary defines a ghost as " the soul of a dead person, a disembodied spirit imagined as wandering among or haunting living persons. A spiritual being." Why do ghosts exists? Is there a ghost in my presence? How can I see a ghost?

There is no solid proof why ghosts exist, but there are many ideas. Ghosts are believed to be the souls of the dead. A ghost is the surviving emotional memory of someone who has died traumatically and usually tragically. Many times they are unaware of their own death. It is believed that a strong emotional tie keeps them here and unable to make the journey into the afterlife. A strong love for someone or something, anger, the feeling of unfinished business, and the fear of going to hell are all possibilities for why ghosts exist. Modern science has taught us that everything is made up of energy, and energy can NOT be destroyed but can change form. All religions believe that there is more to life. It is believed by most, that after our physical bodies die, we go to heaven, hell, purgatory, or some other plane of existence. It has been found that some ghosts will have the same personalities, traits, and habits as the living, and, therefore, feel the need to interact.
