A ghost is the surviving emotional memory of someone who has died traumatically and usually tragically. Many times they are unaware of their own death. It is believed that a strong emotional tie keeps them here and are unable to make the journey into the afterlife. A strong love for someone or something, anger, the feeling of unfinished business, and the fear of going to hell are all possibilities for why ghosts exist. Modern science has taught us that everything is made up of energy and energy can NOT be destroyed, but can change form. All religions believe that there is more to life.
